Hopeless Romantic
I have a very full life and I am eternally grateful for the gifts I have received. However, like many of us I would like to meet a great guy. I seem to meet a lot of men.. but they are rarley "great". So it is important for you to know that despite all of my many sometimes unsavory experiences with men, I am still a hopeless romantic. ...Perhaps I should be more jaded by now but my sister who is happily married says Im like pregnant woman who forgets the pain of childbirth and heads straight into it again.
The thing is I have become quite cynical about men but it seems as soon as a meet a new prospect I have the pure hope and sometimes unrealistic expectations that this one is in fact the "one". The one who will make me laugh and be thoughtful, smart and sweep me off my feet.
That being said, it seems that New York City has many different types of men...and as the search continues I do enjoy the comic relief they provide. I hope you do too...
